Senior Life Solutions is our hospital based Intensive outpatient therapy program. It provides group and individual therapy to Seniors who deal with stresses brought on by aging. The program addresses the emotional and behavioral health of adults over 65 through a combination of therapies, education, and wellness program. We assist them in developing living skills that help them cope with problems that may accompany the aging process.

- Assists with transfers of patients to and from offices, bathroom, or other areas regardless of ambulation status in order to promote fall prevention, if Certified Nursing Assistant or LPN and/or has been trained in appropriate transfer techniques.

- Assists Program Nurse with vital sign checks and dietary intake checks, if Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant

- Coordinates billing protocol with hospital, tracks census, filing medical records, and assists program director and medical director with any other clerical duties as needed.

Experience, & Knowledge required:

- Past experience working with geriatrics

- Understanding of basic computer skills

- Clerical or secretarial exp. preferred

- Use of computer, fax, email, etc.

- Valid Drivers License

- CNA or AAMA

Under the direction of the Human Resource Director, performs a variety of professional human resource administrative duties and provides analysis and support of various human resource programs and initiatives.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

Recruitment/selection process including advertising, assists recruiters with scheduling interviews, defining selection criteria, ensuring all pieces of the application process are complete. Notifies applicants of selection outcome, conducts employment reference checks and addresses concerns applicants may have about the selection process; develops and maintains job registers by working with recruiters.

Maintains Human Resource web pages to include posting updated job descriptions, benefits information, and ensures current job openings are posted and removed in a timely manner following the closing date.

Responsible for a comprehensive employee personnel records system for all employees, regardless of category of employment, including insurance/benefit forms, personnel action forms, pay history, performance evaluations, promotions, merit increases, bonuses, and disciplinary documents; manages records according to each State Systems records retention schedules; provides other monthly status reports and administrative functions.

Advises employees and distributes information regarding benefits, policies and procedures; provides assistance and staff support to departments/divisions as requested; answers public inquiries concerning job openings, employment verifications, and general information.

Assists the Director in coordinating, developing and presenting human resource related training programs to management and employees; creates and maintains detailed spreadsheets used to track personnel data and assists with Power Point presentation.

Assists in conducting human resource policy and program research and development projects, including developing research format, collecting data, formulating results, and regularly creates reports regarding employee benefits, personnel changes, and other human resource activities; makes employee handbook updates and assists in the implementation and application of new and existing personnel policy.
